The NR Blue Nitratereductor is an anaerobic bacteria reactor with a volume of approximately 5 litres, for removing nitrates from freshwater and seawater aquariums. The NR Blue contains Deniballs, (an organic plastic food source for the bacteria) and BactoBalls, (as a settling area for the bacteria). The bacteria feed on the Deniballs and convert the nitrates in the water to nitrogen.
An internal pump circulates the water throughout the reactor chamber to ensure optimal flow and use of the entire surface area of the media.
The NR Blue has 3 media baskets for simple and quick media changes and maintenance. The NR Blue is complete and easy to install. A Redox probe (PG13.5) can be fitted into the electrode port for connection to an mV Computer or AT-Control, for a fully automated system.

The KR Blue Calcium Reactor is a reactor for the supply of dissolved calcium to the aquarium. The KR Blue has a volume of approximately 5 litres and contains 3 media baskets filled with 4kg of Hydrocarbonate. CO2 is added to the reactor via the CO2 inlet port and the resulting acid environment within the reactor dissolves the Hydrocarbonate producing calcium bicarbonate which is taken up by the aquarium inhabitants.
The KR Blue can be fully automated by installing a pH electrode (PG13.5) which can be connected to a pH Computer or AT-Control.
The KR Blue is supplied complete with hoses and Hydrocarbonate but requires a separate CO2 supply such as the Aqua Medic CO2 Set Basic 500.

The SN Blue Sulphur Nitratereductor is an anaerobic bacteria reactor for removing nitrates from seawater aquariums. The SN Blue contains Sulphur Pearls as a food source for the bacteria and Hydrocarbonate to neutralise the sulphuric acid produced in the breakdown process.
