The Blue Reef 1000 comprises the sump, filter tower with pre-filter draw and biofilter filled with bactoballs. A Turboflotor 3000 protein skimmer and Ocean Runner OR3500 circulation pump are also included. There is sufficient interior space to include a KR1000 Calciumreactor and a NR1000 Nitratereductor.
This system is suitable for seawater aquariums up to 1000 litres.

An externally fitted Turboflotor 5000 Compact protein skimmer and Ocean Runner OR6500 circulation pump are also included. There is sufficient interior space to include a KR1000 Calciumreactor and a NR1000 Nitratereductor.

The Biostar Flotor is a compact external hang-on filter for seawater aquariums up to 250 litres. It combines a compact protein skimmer with 'Biorotor' biological filtration. The protein skimmer utilizes a PH2000 venturi pump which produces exceptionally fine bubbles for optimal skimming. The skimmer outflow is biologically filtered as it passes over the Biorotor. The Biorotor has a very large biological capacity due to the enhanced oxygen uptake created as the wheel rotates.
