Aqua Medic
sera GmbH started in a garage in the town of Heinsberg, Germany in 1970. Company founder Josef Ravnak purchased a freeze vacuum drying (FVD) machine and began selling FVD Mosquito Larvae and Tubifex. Within 2 years the range of sera products had reached 17 types of foods including sera Vipan the company's lead product.
Today sera GmbH has over 150 employees, controls three subsidiary companies abroad and offers over 100 products in more than 80 countries around the world. The rapid growth of sera worldwide is a clear indication of the quality and popularity of sera products.

Aqua Medic Anlagenbau GmbH started just over 18 years ago on an old farm in Lower Saxony, Germany. In 1995 it took over the company ab Aqualine and the two companies merged in 2000 to form ab Aqua Medic GmbH.
Today Aqua Medic has daughter companies in the USA, Poland, Italy and the UK, has agents in 59 countries and holds more than 20 patents.

Hikari (made by Kyorin Co Ltd) is by far the most popular brand in Japan, a nation known for it's fine ornamental fish. Today throughout the world, hobbyists with the health of their pet being their first priority, feed Hikari. As an indication of the quality of Hikari food, Hikari has won the All Japan Koi Show Grand Champion award in 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. The Koi show was not held in 2004.

Hikari Bio-Pure foods are produced by Kyorin Group (China) Ltd using their exclusive 3 Step sterilization process before being snap frozen at -40Celsius in the Hikari Mega Power freezer. This snap freezing process maintains the natural color, shape and nutrition of the ingredients. Hikari Bio-Pure foods have become Australia's favourite frozen fish food diet due to the unmatched cleanliness and quality.

  

Schego is only a small German brand but it is big on quality and reliability. Schego air pumps are renowned for high outputs and very low noise levels. These pumps are the obvious choice for aquarists who want solid performance with minimal maintenance. Besides aquarium use, Schego pumps are even more popular for industrial applications including water purification equipment and also laboratory use.

Mag-Float, produced by Bakker Magnetics in The Netherlands, are the original 'Floating' magnet cleaners for glass and acrylic aquariums. Sizes are available for material thicknesses from 4mm up to 30mm. Mag-Flip is the new addition to the magnet cleaner range and contains a cleaning pad and also a replaceable algae scraper. An innovative 'Flip' movement allows instant switching from cleaning pad to scraper and vice versa.

Aqua UV sterilizers are produced by DeBary Aquaristik in Deizisau, Germany. The classic design has remained mostly unchanged from the original and has been proven to be reliable and durable. The T8/T5 UV tubes offer high outputs with greater effectiveness than other lamp types. Sizes range from 11w up to 55w with magnetic ballasts or the more efficient electronic versions.

Aquaroche ceramic rocks and sculptured decorations are produced in France from special clays. These decorations are an excellent alternative to live rock and can therefore reduce the impact on the natural marine environment. Suitable for both Marine and Freshwater applications, Aquaroche ceramic rocks create a beautiful aquatic landscape with the additional benefit of an increased biological surface area for filtration bacteria.
